As Real As ScareCrows
David Tibet & Andrew Liles redress aspects of ‘Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain’ in more stripped down and subtly disorienting revisions.
Part of a 5 x Lp series commemorating their April ’25 channellings in London & Hastings, ‘As Real As Scarecrows’ yields an uncanny half hour in the presence of Tibet and co. They return to fragments of ‘Not Because the Fox Barks’ and 26 April 2007’ from new angles, with Tibet positioned close mic’d and as distant chorale chatting something biblical about tupperware over hammered keys on the front, and lowering into the bottom of the keyboard with stark notes buoying his glistening chimes and more possessed delivery on the back.
